Blog Writing for ELL

The first lesson that I have learned for this subject is the various types of blog writing such as Weblog, Tutor Blog, Class Blog and Learner Blog. Each of it carries different traits to meet the preference of its users.

WEBLOG	TUTOR BLOG	CLASS BLOG	LEARNER BLOG
Online Journal	Run by a teacher	Shared between class members and teacher	Students own personal blog
Display pictures, videos and texts	Blog contains about syllabus material, course info, homework	Used as collaborative discussion place	Used as online journal
Open Public Domain	Some shares about reflections, experiences related to teaching material	Literally students centered	Encourage frequent out of class writing

So, the main question now is, why blogging? People discover lots of reason for blogging. For instance, it provides extra reading for the students, it encourage more student centered learning, it stimulate out of class discussion, create a sense of community in class and many more. Not only that, it also can be a portfolio of student works! 

So, why dont you start now? 😸

On the other hand, apart from its benefits, there is also some dark side lies within it. Since blog is a public domain, you cannot avoid getting underrated comments by strangers. Besides, it is hard for the teachers to do corrections on students' work. 

Thus, be careful on sharing! 😟

Who am I?

• A very normal girl named, Nurul Hanie Bt Abd Ajis but, feel free to know me as just Han. At the year of 2019, I have turned 23 years old. I live peacefully in Kulim, Kedah but then i get to stay in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur to study in College University Poly Tech Mara that located precisely there. So in here, I am currently doing my degree in Applied English Language Studies that requires studies, studies and studies. So, to cut it short, this is an educational blog written by the well grown English majors 😎

What's new?

• The very first thing i get to learn today is how to create a blog! Yes blog, one of the best thing that i do not even know their existence. Basically blog is a very smooth platform for me to share everything since what it needs only my fingertips, to type! and obviously, not to mention a brain too 😑. Credits to my lecturer, Madam Azidatun who brought me into the world of blogging. So, this is going to be  my current obsession! For a long time.

What to expect from this subject?

• Aside from an A, I await for more things to learn regarding technology that someday will be beneficial for future use to face generation Z. Yes, the aggressiveness of generation Z. Besides, since this is an education purposes blog, I hope it can make many English students at ease, InshaAllah 😊
